WILD WOMAN RETREAT

Escape with Tiffany Zoldan for a Women’s Retreat in the beautiful Mayan Riviera in May 2023. This is a chance to ignite your SOUL, awaken your inner KNOWING, unleash your WILD WOMAN and connect with your TRIBE for an intimate and potent gathering. Explore the Mayan ruins and jungle landscape of the Mexican Caribbean, accompanied with deep inner work activations, shakti movement, breathwork, womb mysticism, feminine wisdom workshops, temazcal, yoga flow, and cacao ceremony.

WHEN

May 8th-13th, 2023

THE PURPOSE

Come as you are – to reignite your inner Spark and awaken your Wild Woman. Women often put themselves last on the priority list, and the intention of this retreat to “step into your power.” This is your chance to embark on a SOUL JOURNEY in a safe space for self discovery and truth. It’s also your time to be free, have fun and let go, so enjoy a massage, delight in the scrumptious local food, or curl up with a book or a cocktail, this time is yours and you have permission to INDULGE!

THE REASON

Women are divine beings often spending time comparing themselves to other women instead of elevating one another and working together as a support system. By coming to this retreat we plan on pealing off the layers, letting go of any factors holding us back, digging deep to unveil our feminine powers, all while connecting with our tribe.

THE WAY

We strike a balance between solo, reflective time, and social time. Through self-care practices, intelligently sequenced warming flows, meditations and walks on the beach, powerful daily intentions, and SOUL ACTIVATING inner work, we will become the embodiment of love and the bricklayers of a cooperative human future. Expect to rid yourself of negativity through dance and movement, healing rituals, and emotional exercises that aid in the transformative process of LETTING GO and AWAKENING THE DIVINE FEMININE WITHIN YOU!

THE LOCATION

Casa Sanara is a short walk to the beach, situated in the Riviera Maya, in a beach town called Puerto Aventuras. It is an hour away from the Cancun International Airport, 15 minutes south of Playa del Carmen and 20 minutes north of Tulum.

THE VILLA

Rest and rejuvenate at Casa Sanara (House of Wellness). Relax and unwind with its tranquility feeling throughout all the property.  The house brings the living energy of the outdoors in with a soft, natural palette, zen style, and wooden furnishings. Its secluded patio offers privacy for practicing outdoor yoga, sound therapy, massage, or breathwork under the stars. A sacred tree offers shelter to the interior courtyard, where you can soak your troubles away in the outdoor bath while listening to birdsong.

Inside the property, you’ll find four luxury suites, each equipped with an ensuite bathroom, pillowtop beds, and fine linens. The master suite has a private balcony with a hammock perfect for an afternoon siesta. And the ground floor suite exits to the pool area which is hidden from the world by a canopy of tropical flora.

Free WiFi in rooms and throughout the property!

THE FOOD

The food at the Villa is fresh, plentiful, healthy and delicious with a Mexican flare. The meal plan is based on the philosophy of “from the earth to your plate.” Our in-house chef and staff, deliver breakfast and dinner for our guests. The menu has deep rooted Mexican dishes with contemporary style influences. The chef caters to any dietary restrictions or preferences a guest may have. We use local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients, and most importantly, lots of love in the food we serve. Two meals are served daily, and tea, coffee and water are available at all times.

Cocktails are not included, however, this is also a RETREAT FOR YOUR TASTEBUDS so feel free to INDULGE!

THE ITINERARY

My 1:1 Offerings

I love holding space for the depths of emotional support, connection, embodiment and ceremony. If YOU powerful one feel called to explore greater depths of Self through Embodiment/Energy healing, or perhaps you’re looking to level up your Yoga practice, these offerings are for you.

Ready to journey with me? I am now accepting a few private clients (remote or in person) to work with me one on one.

Happy New Year everyone! Since we have entered into a new decade, I have been fired up to set intentions, put goals into action and manifest my wildest dreams. I kicked the new year off by creating a Vision Board for my “2020 Vision” and hung it up by my bathroom sink so I would see it every day!

Did you know that a vision board is a concrete representation of your desires and aspirations for a compelling life? They are also fun to create and can serve as an invaluable tool to motivate and inspire you towards concrete daily action in pursuit of your biggest and most important life goals!

A vision board is a sacred place that displays what you want in life. When you hang it in a space where you see it daily, your vision board brings your goals and aspirations to life…

So check out my latest episode on 5 MINUTES TO MINDFULNESS and take 5 minutes to create a vision board that will give you a clear picture of where you want to get to!

How to make a Vision Board!

I was late when it came to ‘discovering’ Tulum. By the time I booked a vacation for my husband and I to explore Tulum, it had already blown up on Instagram, was considered a “Yoga Destination” and was featured as THE hottest spot to visit in various publications world wide. It was December of 2014, and Benjamin and I decided to have one last holiday before we were going to try for our first baby. I chose Tulum because of the yoga factor, and we were were searching for a place where we could ditch the alcohol and focus on clean eating and juicing. We certainly found what we were looking for…and then some!!! The beautiful long stretches of white sand beaches with aquamarine waters, dazzled my eyes. The countless yoga shalas to practice in, soothed my muscles. The incredible array of fresh fish, ceviche, fruit and juice nourished my body, and the magic of it all fed my soul. In many ways, Tulum awakened my senses. The gentle reminders on various road signs like “Stay Present” and “Follow that Dream” kept me in the moment.

The variety of places to explore ignited the adventurer in me. The hidden gems on the jungle side of the beach road sparked up the romance with the soft music and candlelight. Tulum sounds like the ocean, smells like copal, tastes like mezcal, feels like yoga bliss, and looks like paradise. However, waking up to the sunrise over the ocean each day was perhaps my most priceless experience. On any given morning I would see many gather on the beach for the sun to rise. Some would be walking the shore, others would be practicing their Sun Salutations, I even encountered a gorgeous topless opera singer who would serenade the sun with her voice. She reminded me of one of my dearest friends, and I was drawn to her freespirited fiery soul. I myself looked forward to the ritual of the sunrise, and envisioned my own dreams by manifesting them in those quiet moments before the day began. Perhaps Tulum is part of the reason I got pregnant with my first without ever trying. I literally got home after our first visit to Tulum, and within a week conceived. My soul had been satisfied, my heart was full and I set my intentions on that sacred beach the Mayans discovered centuries before.

Tulum-RuinsOver the last 3 years we have visited Tulum a handful of times and I’ve comprised a list if my favorite places to enjoy while there.

YOGA

Offers an incredible array of yoga classes in a beautiful jungle side yoga shall.

A stunning yoga studio right on the beach, offering the most exquisite view.

One word: MAGIC

BEACH CLUBS

Good vibes, amazing mixologists, and great daybeds to post-up on.

This place has a fun atmosphere with a caribbean feel.

BEACH DINING

Italian food, extremely romantic, and beyond charming.

Authentic thai food with the best view in Tulum.

Gluten, dairy, grain and refined sugar free food. SOOO delicious.

JUNGLE SIDE DINING

Argentinean steakhouse with a beautiful ambiance.

EVENING COCKTAILS

A magical mezcal bar to enjoy a cocktail or dinner, then dance under the palm trees and disco ball.

Really romantic place to settle in and try an array of fabulous cocktails.

DOWNTOWN TULUM

Located on the best block in downtown Tulum and my favorite place to get caffeinated. Also next to the best bar downtown that serve fresh mojitos right out of an old painted volkswagen beetle.

Local dive. HUGE portions. The ceviche is ridiculously good.

It all started with a family trip to Venezuela when I was a kid. It was the first time I had ever seen water so blue…aquamarine to be exact. We were flying to a place called Margarita Island, and as I looked out the airplane window, I was dazzled by the various colors of aqua and turquoise below. Considering I grew up in Canada and had been accustomed to grey skies and cold weather, I was shocked that colors like this actually  existed in nature. That was it! I decided then and there that I was going to travel the world to discover the perfect white sand beaches and azure seas.

Fast forward to now, and while I have searched far and wide for the most beautiful beaches in the world, from the South Pacific to the Caribbean, Australia to Europe, Asia to South America, I’ve been blown away by the awe-inspiring pieces of paradise I’ve been blessed enough to visit. However, I realized over the years that it wasn’t enough for me to just visit these places, I wanted to choose one and live there… and this is where the story begins.

See this blog is called AquaHolic JOURNEY for a reason. I know it’s cliche, but it’s really not about the destination, it’s about the journey. If it had been up to me, I would’ve moved to a bohemian beach town years ago, but I’ve had to learn patience, which is MUCH easier said than done for me.

I also met, fell in love with, and married my soulmate, and somehow convinced him to take this crazy journey with me, although he didn’t need much convincing since he is a water lover also.

We have much more in common then our wanderlust and love of the ocean though. We are both Pisces, exactly one week apart in age, we were both born and raised in Canada, but are also American (thanks to each of our American Mom’s) and we adore our family. Oddly we met in Vegas where we currently reside, but that’s another story.

Back to patience…the virtue I just do not have (sigh) I’ve had to learn patience because my husband is rational and realistic, and I am a dreamer. Luckily for me he makes dreams come true, and he does so with careful thought-out planning. Needless to say we put our plans into motion, and have been moving forward, albeit slow and steady. Not to mention our plans have changed and evolved over the 8 years we’ve been together, and so have we. Our goal is still same, but we certainly upped the anti…We started out as a young couple without a care in the world and no responsibilities, to a more practical duo who got married and bought a house. After a lot of work and saving, plus a ton of market research in various beach locations around the globe, we purchased our plot of land in our dream destination. Now, we are ALL in with 2 baby girls, a mortgage, a motorcycle, some land and a dream… So THIS story is not so much about MY journey as a free spirited gypsy soul…because while I am still all of those things, I am now part of a fabulous and fearless foursome, and together WE are on an AquaHolic journey to living a life by the sea.

IMG_20170707_141402.jpg

This journey will include all things related to water in our lives, including my two natural water births I had over the last two years. It will cover the progressional steps we are taking to start our business, learn a new language, move to a foreign country with our beach babies in tow. Also, we may live in the desert right now, but I’m on the lake as much as possible teaching SUP Yoga, planning my yoga retreats, and using the water to get my pre-baby body back~ whether it’s through swimming or mermaiding;)

So if you’ve ever dreamed about leaving the rat race for the beach pace, my hope is our journey will inspire you. Even if you are choosing to live a more authentic life by tapping into your own dreams and pursuing them, I would love to know what your passions are!! It takes courage, faith and perseverance to make a dream become reality, so be prepared to hear the up’s and down’s and everything in between when it comes to ours.

I’m Tiffany and I’m and AquaHolic. Who are you, and what are your passions?

IMG_20150423_171332.jpg

A few weeks ago I took a trip to Nova Scotia, Canada to visit my grandmother for the first time in five years. Between her move to The Maritimes, and my move to Mexico, plus the Pandemic in between, it had been way too long since I held her hands.

This trip was even more special because it was a girls trip my sister and I made together…with her new baby girl. It’s hard to describe the emotions I felt seeing my niece in the arms of my grandmother (Nana), but I found myself in awe of our four generations of life. I took a mental imprint of how their hands intertwined ~ an elder and a baby. My Nana’s weathered with age and experience…shaped by the five children she raised, the nine grandchildren she nurtured, and now the eight great grandchildren she has held.

Being in her presence inspired me in many ways, and one of them is to take more time to heal ancestrally.

Trauma can be passed down 7 generations!

You are a unique individual. Everything about you is completely one-of-a-kind from your fingerprints to the way your DNA expresses itself to your gifts and personality. However, as unique as you are, you are also the product of a long line of people that have come before you and everything that they experienced also lives in your cellular memory. We inherit our parents and grandparent’s stress responses and unhealed emotional wounds and unfulfilled dreams.

If you are curious about Ancestral Healing, join our online Dream Weaving Women’s Circle to learn more.

On the 7th of each month, at 7 PM EST, we will gather on Zoom where I will be guiding energetic activations, intention setting, and soul work, as we share wisdom and explore sacred topics.

See you soon dear siSTAR!

Would you like to work on your Ancestral Healing in a deeper way? Please set up your complimentary discovery call to explore how.

Welcome! Chances are you ended up here for a reason. More than likely, you suffer from trauma, or know someone who has. Traumatic events are a near-ubiquitous human experience. A general population survey conducted in 24 countries showed that more than 70 percent of respondents experienced a traumatic event.

This 20 hour course is about Trauma Recovery, and the healing journey of empowering yourself and others with research and science backed methods to self-regulate. Anyone and everyone who has been through a traumatic experience, who leads a stressful life, or who wants to continue their education and grow their own practice, will benefit from this training.

Trauma disconnects the body from the mind, and this practice reconnects them.

What is trauma-informed yoga?

Trauma-informed yoga describes an approach to the practice that addresses the specific needs and symptoms of trauma survivors.

This form of yoga may include self-regulation strategies to:

  • increase body awareness (interoception) in a safe and controlled way, which can promote feelings of physical, emotional, and psychological safety.
  • address nervous system dysregulation, dissociation, and feelings of disconnection from the body or surroundings, which are common after experiencing trauma

What are Somatics?

Somatics describes any practice that uses the mind-body connection to help you survey your internal self and listen to signals your body sends about areas of pain, discomfort, or imbalance. These practices allow you to access more information about the ways you hold on to your experiences in your body.

Questions? We would love to hear from you!

Regardless of whether you call it manifesting, setting intentions, praying, dreaming etc. We are all essentially capable of calling in our greatest desires. Through my own manifestation process (by most of which has been explored through trial and error) I have come to appreciate one very important factor that has amplified my abilities in actualizing my dreams; the moon! For the last 7 years I have truly attuned to the cycles of the moon, and I purposely engage with its powerful energy each month to manifest.

Energetically speaking, this weekend is pretty potent. We will be experiencing a new moon in taurus, plus a partial solar eclipse! Whatever comes up with this new moon, it’s highly likely the effects could be felt for up to six months after the eclipse. If you haven’t tried manifesting with a new moon yet, this weekend would be a great time to start!

When the moon is dark, we are able to tap into a little window of time when the universe is most receptive to initiation. Generally speaking, during a dark moon we plant the seeds to initiate our intention setting. You can do this by:

  • Finding a quiet space.
  • Turning the lights down low.
  • Closing your eyes.
  • Taking a few deep breaths.
  • Sitting in stillness with your imagination running wild.
  • Centering yourself to now focus on exactly what it is that you want.
  • Visualizing your greatest desires until they become super specific and clear (I always write mine down to maximize the results.)
  • Once you have your list, energetically give it away unto God or the Universe, and fully surrender your trust. (If you wrote down a list, you can burn it to emphasize the process of letting go.)
  • Last but not least, live in the moment, as if you already have the dreams you are manifesting.

Happy new moon, and please subscribe for more tips and wellness offerings.

Processing…
Success! You're on the list.

Making Tea a Ritual ~ 5 Minutes to Mindfulness

As simple as this may sound, and as cheesy as this video may be, there really are a ton of benefits in turning the act of drinking a cup of tea, into a mindful ritual.

Of course I shot this video BEFORE the days of quarantined life, and now drinking tea is something I do with my kids running around me squealing lol! However, it doesn’t take away the enjoyment of such a simple act.

Lastly, remember you can do anything for 5 minutes so why not to do something positive for your well being. 💕

Stay mindful my friends.🙏🏻

I don’t know about you, but this is the time of year that I start craving some Vitamin Sea!

Did you know that floating in nature, or feeling weightless in a hammock, or even utilizing a “flotation tank”, also known as a “sensory deprivation chamber” has many benefits! It is most often used as a method for relaxation and to boost creativity. It can allow one to engage in a deep meditative state, regardless of meditation experience.

Watch this video to feel some summer vibes and a taste of serenity.

Lastly, remember you can do anything for 5 minutes so why not to do something positive for your well being. 💕

Stay mindful my friends.🙏🏻

I get it, it’s hard to get outdoors when you would rather stay cozied up inside where it’s warm, but did you know that walking in nature can decrease depression, improve your wellbeing and mental health, and lower perceived stress???

Sometimes all we have is 5 minutes!! So this is just a friendly reminder to try and spend those 5 minutes doing something POSITIVE for yourself!!

Imagine how you would feel if you implemented walking in nature for 5 minutes a day, 7 days a week!!!😊

For more Benefits of Walking in Nature, watch this Video!
